On Tuesday 7th July we left Lapeenranta by train to Helsinki. We arrived in Helsinki at 2pm.

We wanted to have a look inside the Parliament building but we were too late - it was closed. In the evening we went to the Bangkok restaurant for a Thai dinner with some more of Mum's friends. We spent over an hour there and the food was good. Here is a picture of us eating.

It is very interesting following your journey. I will make sure the rest of the class reads your blog on Monday when we are back at school. Keep the comments up. Mrs Wiri

We are doing well on our trip. We enjoyed looking around the city. We went to Helsinki the capital of Finland. We went to France, we stopped at Lyon and Dijon. In England we visited Stratford-on-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace. Blackburn, Southport, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster and Bridgenorth.
